Volunteers Week 2009 Events!
Volunteers' Week has now been and gone for another year, but not without a multitude of events from VCS Lincoln! Our Oscar award ceremony was a great night, with some amazing food, fun and awards!
We also had our volunteer quiz - well done to Lincoln Toy Library who went home with the 1st prize of £150 towards their charity and we also had an open day on the last day of Volunteers' Week with over 90 people coming in to see what variety of volunteering opportunities are on offer!
Thanks to all who got involved, we look forward to working with you all in the coming year!
VCS Lincoln is on Youtube!
As part of our Volunteers' Week celebrations, Voluntary Centre Services had a DVD made to highlight the amazing work that volunteers are doing across the County. Featuring volunteers from Nomad Trust, Glasshouse Growth Project, Gainsborough Citizens Advice Bureau and The Healthy Hub and many more. Please take a look, and get inspired!
