What is First Contact?

First Contact is a service that allows the over 60’s to access a wide range of services and information to help them stay safe and well in their own home through one point of contact. Our customers can complete a simple checklist in one of our leaflets, with a member of one of our partner agencies or on the phone with us and the answers they provide will indicate which agencies they require information and advice from. We are responsible for ensuring that our partner agencies provide information and advice to the customer within 28 days and we also collate information provided by our partner agencies to indicate the type of services the customer received.

We work closely with several partner agencies including Adult Social Care, Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue, District Council Housing Teams, Lincolnshire Energy Efficiency Advice Centre, Age Concern, Lincolnshire Police, Local Pension Service, Accessibility Policy Unit, Voluntary Organisations and Share the Care.
