Friday 8th June - Youth Volunteering Event
Gillian Merron joined us as we worked in partership with Connexions and Children's Links to provide a day of fun at games at Lincoln Christ Hospital School, promoting the value of volunteering to a group of Year 10 students from 3 different schools in Lincoln. 3 different workshops were run throughout the morning which taught the young people basic First Aid, primary school games for those who might be interested in working with children and information on volunteering opportunities for under 18's.
Volunteering is invaluable to young people, giving them the opportunity to meet new people, learn new skills, try something new, help their local community and most of all to have fun!
